In this blog we'll show you how to integrate BookSteam scheduling links into your Wix webpage. Let's start.

1. Login into your Wix account.
2. In the Wix App Market search for 'html app' and then click 'Add App'. (At this time it is not possible to add HTML code directly to the source code of your Wix site without this app).

3. Click 'Add to Site'.

4. In the Mode select 'HTML code'.

5. Login into your BookSteam account here. If you want to link BookSteam scheduling "Book Now" button into your Wix page, navigate to the "Marketing" tab, and on the left hand side select "BookNow Button", select size of the button you prefer and copy your code, see below.

6. Go back to your Wix account and paste it into the HTML/embed code field and click 'Update'.

7. Now, drag box wherever you want your 'Book Now' button to be and at the top right click 'Save' following by 'Publish'.

8. "Book Now" button now added to your Wix webpage. Your clients can now visit your live website and start booking their appointments online.

If you want to integrate 'Booksteam Widget in body', in your BookSteam account navigate to the 'Marketing' tab, on the left hand side select 'Website Widgets'. Select 'Booksteam Widget in body', pick which booking link to load (if you want to load main page just leave it default) and then copy the code below.

Now, follow Step 6 above and drag the box wherever you want your 'BookSteam Widget in body' to be. Click 'Save' following by 'Publish', your booking widget will now be live:

1. Login into your Weebly account here.
2. Open your "Build" tab at the top left.

3. Login into your BookSteam account here.
4. If you want to link BookSteam scheduling "Book Now" button into your Weebly page, navigate to the "Marketing" tab, and on the left hand side select "BookNow Button", select size of the button you prefer and copy your code, see below.

5. Go back to your Weebly account, on the left hand side under 'Basic' locate square called 'Embed Code', click it and drag it to wherever you want your "Book Now" to be.

6. Click 'Edit Custom HTML' and paste your code in there.

7. "Book Now" button now added to your Weebly webpage, you can now click 'Publish' or upload Weebly pages to your hosting server. Your clients can now visit your live website and start booking their appointments online.

8. If you want to integrate website widget (popup or direct booking on your Weebly webpage), navigate in your BookSteam account to the 'Marketing' tab, on the left hand side select 'Website Widgets'. Select 'BookSteam widget in body' or 'BookSteam popup widget', select which link to load (if you want to load main page just leave it default) and then copy code below.

9. Then follow Step 5 and Step 6 in this blog. After you 'Publish' it or upload it to your hosting account, 'BookSteam Popup Widget' will look like this:

And you're done!

Sync your BookSteam calendar one-way with external calendars such as Apple iCal, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. Follow these steps below:

Turn ON calendar Sync in BookSteam:

1. Go to Settings.

2. On the left hand side click Staff Members.

3. Edit Staff Member whose calendar you want to Sync.

4. Select Sync tab and check box ‘Enable Calendar Sync for Staff Member’.

5. Unique calendar (Webcal) link will appear. Copy this Webcal link and paste it into the other calendar program (see above).


6. Click Save. Make sure you click Save before adding Webcal calendar link to other calendar program.

Note: This is a one way synchronization, changes made in another calendar will not be reflected back to BookSteam.


Adding your BookSteam Webcal link to Apple iCal (iPad/iPhone):
1. Go to ‘Settings’.
2. Select ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars’.
3. Under ‘Accounts’ select ‘Add Account’.
4. Select ‘Other’.
5. Select ‘Add Subscribed Calendar’
6. Paste your BookSteam Webcal link.
7. Click ‘Save’. 
  

Adding your BookSteam Webcal link to Google calendar:
1. Login into your Google calendar.
2. Look for ‘Other calendars’ and to the right click drop down arrow.

3. Click ‘Add by URL’.
4. Paste your BookSteam Webcal link in ‘URL:’ field and click ‘Add Calendar’.

Note: Sync to Google calendar can have delays of up to 24 hours (a well-known Google issue, BookSteam has no control over this interval).


Adding your BookSteam Webcal link to Microsoft Outlook:
1. Login into your Outlook calendar.

2. Click ‘Import’ at the top.
3. Click Subscribe on the left hand side.

4. Paste your BookSteam Webcal link in ‘Calendar URL’ field, enter calendar name in ‘Calendar name’ field and click ‘Subscribe’ and you're done.

Another awesome feature from BookSteam! Now you can rename "Class" and "Classes" label names to suit your business. For example, if you run Tours you can easily rename Classes to Tours. How do you do that? See below:

Navigate to Settings, on the left hand side click Classes. At the top click "Rename Label" button.

Enter new name for singular and plural (for this example we'll use Tour and Tours) and click "Save".

You're done, Class and Classes labels are now switched to the Tour and Tours. Now when your clients schedule online, they will see Tours instead of Classes.
