2018 is almost over as we’re gearing up for another amazing year ahead and hopefully you're just as excited as us! This past year was one of the busiest years in the development for BookSteam, so we thought we would reflect back on what we were able to accomplish in 2018.

Future staff working hours
This is an extremely useful feature and perfect for those staff members who have fluctuating schedules throughout the year. For example, in March, staff member Monica, is working Tuesday through Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm, but in May it changes to 11:00am to 6:00pm. With this feature, you can give your staff members the flexibility they need and still run your business. Find out more here

Booking multiple participants per class
Parents (or anybody else) are able to book multiple kids/participants into the same class. Perfect for swim lessons, group tutoring lessons and more. Find out more here.

Inventory management
We've made BookSteam so convenient, that it's becoming a one stop shop for your booking and administration needs. With this inventory management feature, you can easily manage your products, brands, vendors and product orders with ease. Find out more here.

Sales - Invoices
Keep track of invoices or send one to a client without any difficulty. It's perfect for appointments, classes, products and packages. Find out more here.

Client email notification messages customization
We understand that all businesses are different, which is why we have made it our goal to customize the BookSteam platform to any business. You can now easily customize email notification messages that your clients receive. Find out more here.

Monthly view
Get an overview of everything that's going on in the upcoming day, week or month with staff, resources, and location. Find out more here.

Calendar week start day
You can now change your calendar week start day in the settings section. For example, in your calendar you can see Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or you can change it to Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Find out more here.

All staff and all resources view
You can now see all staff or all resources at the same time in a weekly view. Find out more here.

Downloadable Subscription Invoices
You can now download your BookSteam subscription invoices directly from My Account > Payments & Invoices tab.

Print All Staff In A Monthly View
Metrics are extremely important in running a successful business. You can now print a report with All Staff in a Monthly View. Find out more here.

- New website design released, check it out at http://booksteam.com

- Under 'Settings>Preferences>Scheduling Rules>Clients' Additional Details option new 'Country' selection has be added.

- Added 'Country' drop box to the client profile.

- Under client profile you can now set a password.

- In the client profile, under Activity tab, font size can be viewed in smaller size (to see longer words).

- In the final step on the scheduling mini webpage (desktop version), the button 'Confirm' has been renamed to 'Book Now'.

- In the Statistics tab, a bug not showing multiple months has been fixed.

- BookSteam logo has been removed from the top right corner in the online mini webpage.

- 'New here?' link has been added to the top right corner of the mini webpage for customers to be able to register.

- Wording "This booking is not yet confirmed. To finalize the booking, click the "Book Now" or "Pay" button." has been added to the mini webpage in the final step of the Summary page (desktop version).

What’s new you ask? Awesome November Updates!

-Each service / class can have its' own color when booked manually & online (Settings>Services, edit service).

-Block color has been relocated to the Settings>Preferences>Scheduling Rules tab under Calendar Time Slots.

-Two new colors for services/class time slots have been added (purple & brown).

-Booking webpage can now be turned off (Marketing>Mini Webpage).

-Booking webpage now has a Category selection when picking a service or class.

-When customer books appointment online, their calendar appointment slot will show a small cloud icon.

-When a brand new customer books online, calendar appointment slot will show “(New)” beside clients name.

-Each service now has a “This service cannot be booked online” option (For those who need to book services manually & without their clients having the option to do so online).

-Services can now be from 5 to 1440 minutes in duration.

-“Pay later” option has been added in the Settings>Client Payments tab (When enabled, customers will be presented with the option to skip payment and pay later, at the time of the booking).

-“BCC” option has been added in the Settings>Preferences>Scheduling Rules under Email Settings (you can add an email to receive a copy of any email sent to staff/customer).

-You can now Enable drop down box for Staff and Location side menu (instead of a scroll selection) in the Calendar tab. Ideal for businesses with many locations for easier navigation (located in Settings>Preferences>Scheduling Rules under Calendar Settings).

-You can now Enable drop down box for multiple Locations (instead of a scroll selection) on your mini webpage (located in the Marketing>Mini Webpage tab).
