Services
When a client is booking a service (a.k.a. appointments), they are booking an action that's being performed - something that is intangible. Services include: haircuts, massages, house cleaning, car maintenance, and more. It's normally only performed with one client at a time, at a fixed rate and is usually not recurring.
However, with BookSteam, you can easily set a recurring appointment for your clients by navigating to the 'Repeat' tab in the appointment window of the calendar view.
Clients can also book multiple services in one single visit or even book different service groups coupled together. All of this can be setup in the 'Services' tab under 'Settings'.
Classes
Classes are offered to multiple clients and tend to be more flexible in terms of bookings. Clients are free to book classes as they go or can even book recurring classes too. There is low commitment when booking a class as it's not required to to attend all classes when making a booking. Classes can include: a spinning class, swimming classes, math classes or even a personal tutor.
Scroll to 'Settings' and then to 'Classes' to set everything up that you are offering to your clients. Once you're finished packaging your class, go to the calendar view and start programming the classes into your calendar.
Courses
With our new courses feature; you can easily schedule and program different types of educational courses into the booking software for an extended period of time. Courses are offered to multiple clients or students who are committed to attending all or most of the scheduled sessions through one registration.
Courses typically have a higher price point than classes as clients are attending more than one session in a set period of time. Examples of courses are first aid courses, marketing courses, real estate courses, and more.
All you have to do is go to the 'Settings' and 'Courses' tab in order to program everything for your business.
